TERMS OF SERVICE

Welcome to the official storefront for One King One Crown. These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity ("you," "customer," or "user") and Yancey International ("we," "us," or "our"), concerning your purchase and use of our card game, website, and related services.

By placing an order on our store, you explicitly agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with all of these Terms, you are expressly prohibited from purchasing our products.

1. ALL SALES FINAL & NO-RETURN POLICY

Because our inventory is managed globally and fulfilled directly via international logistics networks, we enforce a strict All Sales Final policy to maintain operational viability.

  • No Physical Returns: We do not accept physical returns, mail-ins, or product exchanges under any circumstances. Do not ship products back to our fulfillment origins or manufacturing facilities; any such packages will be rejected or abandoned, and no refund will be issued.

  • No Order Cancellations: Once an order is placed and enters our fulfillment stream, it cannot be canceled, modified, or refunded due to "buyer’s remorse," accidental purchases, or changed minds.

  • Defective or Damaged Goods Remedy:

    • If your game arrives with severe manufacturing defects (e.g., missing essential components, critical misprints) or catastrophic transit damage that makes the game unplayable, you must notify us at support@yanceyintl.com within 14 calendar days of the carrier's marked delivery date.

    • Your notification must include your original order number and clear photographic or video evidence of the damage/defect to both the packaging and the components.

    • Our Sole Remedy: Upon verification, we will ship a replacement copy or the necessary replacement components to you entirely at our expense, subject to stock availability. You will not be required to return the damaged item. We reserve the right to deny replacement requests that lack sufficient photographic proof or fall outside the 14-day window.

2. INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING, CUSTOMS, & RISK OF LOSS

Our products are manufactured in China and dispatched to international destinations, including the United States and the United Kingdom.

  • Risk of Loss: The risk of loss and title for all merchandise purchased pass to you, the customer, the moment we hand the package over to our shipping carrier. We are not liable for packages stolen after delivery ("porch piracy") or lost due to incorrect address entry by the customer.

  • Shipping Estimates vs. Guarantees: All shipping timelines, delivery windows, and tracking estimates provided at checkout are approximations only. We are not liable for shipping delays resulting from customs clearances, port congestion, carrier labor strikes, weather disruptions, or force majeure events.

  • Import Duties, Taxes, and VAT:

    • For US Customers: Orders valued under the statutory US de minimis threshold ($800) are typically exempt from import duties, but local state sales taxes may apply at checkout.

    • For UK/International Customers: You are solely responsible for ensuring compliance with your country’s import laws. [Alternative A: All prices are exclusive of VAT/Customs, which must be paid by the customer upon arrival] OR [Alternative B: UK VAT is collected at checkout and handled via our fulfillment network]. Any packages abandoned by the customer due to a refusal to pay local import fees or taxes will not be eligible for a refund.

3. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

The game One King One Crown, including but not limited to its distinctive game mechanics, card text, rulebook layouts, graphic designs, artwork, lore, titles, logos, and digital assets, is the sole intellectual property of Yancey International.

  • Your purchase grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to possess and play the physical game for personal, non-commercial entertainment.

  • You are strictly prohibited from copying, scanning, digitizing, replicating, or redistributing the assets or mechanics of the game for commercial purposes, manufacturing derivative works, or importing the game into digital simulators (e.g., Tabletop Simulator) without our express, written consent.

4. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Yancey International and its directors, employees, or agents shall not be liable to you or any third party for any direct, indirect, consequential, exemplary, incidental, special, or punitive damages—including lost profits or emotional distress—arising from your purchase or use of the game.

  • Liability Cap: Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained herein, our total liability to you for any cause whatsoever, and regardless of the form of the action, will at all times be strictly capped at the exact monetary amount paid by you for the single product unit giving rise to the claim.

5. GOVERNING LAW & DISPUTE RESOLUTION

These Terms and your purchase are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of The State of Kuwait, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

  • Any legal action, suit, or arbitration arising directly out of these Terms must be filed exclusively within the courts located in The State of Kuwait, and you hereby consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
